If a prong becomes damaged, simply turn the plate over and use a T-50 Torx bit to remove and replace the damaged prong. MAXTRAX XTREME uses a patented and patent-pending wire and BlipLock system to ensure secure physical engagement of a new prong with its housing after replacement. MAXTRAX XTREME can stack with MAXTRAX MKII recovery plates, although there is a slight additional gap between the plates due to the design of the MAXTRAX XTREME's underside.
