The MAXTRAX STATIC ROPE EXTENSION 10 is designed to be a static element during a vehicle recovery operation. The MAXTRAX STATIC ROPE EXTENSION 10 can be used as an extension strap for tow recovery, connected to MAXTRAX KINETIC ROPE(S) or a WINCH CABLE to increase the overall length of the ropes. The MAXTRAX STATIC ROPE EXTENSION 10 was designed and tested as part of the MAXTRAX RECOVERY SYSTEM. The MAXTRAX RECOVERY SYSTEM consists exclusively of MAXTRAX products and has not been tested with third-party products. Critically, if the MAXTRAX RECOVERY SYSTEM is overloaded, the MAXTRAX FUSE SHACKLE is designed to be the weakest link and the expected point of failure. Therefore, YOU MUST USE a MAXTRAX FUSE SHACKLE in the MAXTRAX RECOVERY SYSTEM during any vehicle recovery. Use only approved recovery points when connecting the MAXTRAX FUSE SHACKLE or MAXTRAX CORE SHACKLE to a vehicle. Before using the MAXTRAX STATIC ROPE EXTENSION 10 for any vehicle recovery, make sure everyone involved reads and understands ALL INFORMATION ON this packaging, as well as on the warning labels attached to the MAXTRAX STATIC ROPE EXTENSION 10. Visually inspect the MAXTRAX STATIC ROPE EXTENSION 10 to ensure it is in good condition, without damage, and in usable condition before installation and before each use. Attach the MAXTRAX STATIC ROPE EXTENSION 10 to the MAXTRAX HITCH, other MAXTRAX KINETIC ROPEs, a MAXTRAX STATIC ROPE, or approved vehicle recovery points using a MAXTRAX CORE SHACKLE or MAXTRAX FUSE SHACKLE. MAXTRAX STATIC ROPES can be used individually or linked with MAXTRAX CORE SHACKLES to achieve the required rope length for your vehicle recovery scenario. Place the MAXTRAX RECOVERY DAMPENER on the MAXTRAX KINETIC ROPE or MAXTRAX WINCH ROPE and attach it to the hook or loop. Using the MAXTRAX 4WD RECOVERY TRACKS as a ramp will significantly reduce the forces and loads on all equipment during recovery. Keep bystanders and bystanders away from the area. Begin the recovery by GENTLY taking up slack in the system. If recovery fails initially, try again with A LITTLE more momentum.
